A Few of Our Favorite (Baby) Things

I have a lot of favorite baby things, so this might be Part 1 in a series, who knows? Let’s just called it A Few of Our Favorite (Baby) Things: Collab Edition. Today I’m introducing you to four small, woman-owned shops that I had the pleasure of collaborating with recently. (If you don’t know the lingo, that means I provided photos for these shop owners in exchange for their products.) If you’re the parent of a little one (or planning to be!), I recommend these products for sure, but even if you don’t care about my favorite baby things, you might just enjoy a few photos of my favorite baby in his first few modeling gigs. ;)

  1. Crib Sheets from Sheetworld

I was thrilled to receive four sets of sheets for the crib in Jonas’s nursery! Even within the color scheme of the wall art I chose (from my own shop!), there were SO MANY choices of sheets… it took me forever to narrow it down! The seafoam links pattern is my favorite look, but I LOVE the softness of the jersey knit fabric on the navy blue solid sheets.

Jonas seems to like them all just fine! ;)

2. Blanket from Madelicious Treasures

Amy sews beautiful baby blankets by hand, with a little help from her daughter Maddy, the namesake of the business. ;) I think Jonas was the first to receive one in this adorable sea turtle fabric, and I love it!

It’s thick, super soft, and even has a handy little attachment for keeping a pacifier close by!

3. Swadloop Blanket by Memeeno

This adorable blanket has become a major favorite at our house!

This fabric is stretchy, which I have found makes it perfect for swaddling. I previously only used velcro swaddles (like the Ollie Swaddle) because I had a hard time wrapping securely with muslin blankets (like these). The stretch is key! Plus the little loop at the end—perfect! Jonas was just a couple weeks old in these photos, and looking at them now I realize my swaddling skills have really come a long way—ha!

The Swaddloop blanket can be used in other ways, too. Of course any big blanket can work as a carseat cover (to keep the gnats away!), but the loop on this one helps it function as a nursing cover, too.

4. Big Sister/Little Brother shirts from Happy Life Parties

Don’t worry, Afton got in on the modeling action, too! She spotted this t-shirt in my closet before Jonas was born, and I wouldn’t let her wear it yet for fear that she’d mess it up, so she was THRILLED when it was finally time to do this collab! This photo of the two of them on her bed is one of my favorites of them together so far. Jonas has just about outgrown this onesie now, but Afton’s t-shirt is still in rotation and is holding up perfectly. She is pretty particular about clothes, but she chooses this shirt pretty often, which is not surprising given what a proud big sister she is! :)

So there you have it! Are these the cutest little models around or what?! ;) Many thanks to these shops! :)
