Happy New Year's Eve! I can't believe 2015 is coming to a close already. It feels like so little time has passed since since we were ringing it in, and yet so much has happened this year! Of course, the highlight of my year was the arrival of our sweet Afton Rose. It's such a joy to be her momma, and seeing my husband, parents, brother, in-laws, and friends shower her with love too is an incredible blessing. Thank you all.
It's been a great year on the work front, too. Anchor Psychology Center has grown by two wonderful therapists and moved into a new building--and yet they still let me come back to my beloved job after maternity leave! ;) Thanks, guys. :)
Uninvented Colors may have slowed down a little this year while I focused on motherhood, but there were still some really beautiful portrait sessions of all sorts: two engagements, a newborn, a family, and a baptism!
And two fabulous weddings! Thank you to all of you who were in front of my camera this year! I hear that photographers sometimes have difficult clients, but somehow I have managed to only ever work with incredibly kind, interesting, fun people, and I am so grateful for all of you. It is a true honor to share such important moments with you and to document them for posterity. I do not take this job lightly, and I am humbled each time someone trusts me with it. Seriously, thank you.
Last but not least, there's my good ole Etsy shop. I know it's a small venture, but it is where Uninvented Colors all started, and no matter what changes are going on in my life, it sticks around like a loyal and trusted friend. Those of you who have bought prints of my work are the ones who keep my creativity going and affirm my belief that my way of seeing the world is worth sharing. I don't know most of you in "real life," but you inspire me, and I am grateful. Thank you for buying more than 30 different prints this year!
I am so blessed. I am not good at New Year's Resolutions, but in 2016, I will strive to keep serving the One from whom all these blessings flow. See you next year!
