As I mentioned in my Christmas post, air travel prevented us from bringing a lot of Afton's Christmas presents back to Mississippi from Kentucky, so when Sweet T came to visit in February, we had Christmas all over again! Afton's new jungle toy was a big hit!
But of course, Afton also wanted to show off her skills at the neighborhood playground!
We played until dusk!
One Saturday, we ventured to Mobile for a fun-filled day, starting with lunch at Kitchen on George. Alex and I discovered this restaurant when we were in Mobile shopping for baby gear back in 2015 and have been wanting to go back ever since, so it was a special treat to bring Afton and Sweet T there. The food was scrumptious, and the staff were extremely gracious and accommodating despite the inevitable craziness of bringing a toddler to a nice restaurant.
After lunch, we headed downtown to catch a parade--Afton's first one! She was pretty popular and ended up with quite a haul of goodies!
We enjoyed some casual sightseeing around town...
...and a peaceful detour by the water.
Sunday afternoon, we checked out a brand new Biloxi restaurant: The Blind Tiger! We've enjoyed the one in Bay St. Louis when we're over that way, so having one so close by is pretty exciting! I recommend the Tiger Juice. ;)
And what a beautiful view!
Thanks for another fun visit, Sweet T! See you again soon! :)
