One Night in Paris

I told you I was finished blogging about Morocco a while ago, but I almost forgot that the last night of our trip was actually not in Morocco at all. How could I forget Paris?! The way our flight schedule worked out, we needed to spend one night in Paris en route back to the US, and we were determined to make the most of it.

How to make the most of spending one night in Paris, France

Alex did a fabulous job finding a hotel super close to the Eiffel Tower, and our concierge came through getting us a reservation for a late dinner in the restaurant next door! I visited Paris in high school but actually hadn’t seen the Eiffel Tower from this vantage point before, so it was still a thrill! Let’s be honest, this thing is beautiful and magical from any angle… no matter how many times you’ve seen it, I imagine!

We somehow managed to get a table with a window facing the tower, so we kept soaking in the view during our delicious dinner at Café de l'Homme. Alex even ate bluefin tuna, which he had been discussing at the international meeting in Morocco for several days prior… full circle!

It was late, and we were tired, but we couldn’t resist a little stroll across the Seine to get a closer look at the Eiffel Tower. Worth it!

We only spent a few waking hours in Paris (and too few sleeping hours), but I’m so glad we made it part of the adventure! Vive la France!
