It has been such a long time since the last time I got to share a family portrait session here (February)! I was a little nervous about how to navigate “social distancing” during this session, but my trusty 100mm lens was super helpful in solving this problem. Beautiful portraits from a distance, plus random macro shots in between just for fun. :)
Truth be told, I was also nervous because Judi is a talented photographer in her own right—no pressure, right?! ;)
Needless to say, the unexpectedly pretty light (after two days of rain) calmed all our nerves, and this session turned out to be a great time, despite my rustiness. :)
Such an honor to capture these moments for such a wonderful family! Now that I’m back at it (and have mostly figured out how to use a camera with a mask on ;)) I’m itching to keep it up. Let me know if you want to be next!
