I love the Southern tradition of bridal portrait sessions. It is so lovely to focus on the beauty of a bride at a time that is calm and peaceful, before the hustle and bustle of the big day. The only part I don't like is having to wait until after the wedding before I can share the photos! At long last, this wait is over, because Elizabeth is married! I am so excited for you to see this gorgeous bride and all the perfect details that made up her bridal look. I loved her rhinestone-studded flats and her cascading bouquet--can you believe it's silk?!
I was also pretty thrilled about the location for our session, a fabulous home along front beach in Ocean Springs. Ever since it was built, my husband and I have been calling it "the Garden & Gun house" because it looks like it should go on the cover of our favorite southern magazine. When I got word that I would have the opportunity to step foot on this amazing porch--WITH my camera, no less!--I was a wee bit excited. Isn't it the perfect setting for this beautiful bride?
I was so impressed to learn that Liz's mom made the lace veil from a piece of the gown!
Aren't the autumnal colors in the bridesmaid bouquets beautiful?
Liz was glowing!
Isn't her feather fascinator adorable?
Love this sassy look!
Check out that bright blue sparkler!
So stunning!
Congratulations, Elizabeth! Best wishes for a beautiful marriage!
