I have these friends, the Palmers, and I don't have enough words to tell you how awesome they are. They are gracious and kind and reflect the love of Christ to me every time we meet. They also happen to be really gorgeous and perfectly stylish and live in a beautiful home. When I first learned that McLaurin was pregnant with their second child, I started imagining how amazing it would be to have her baby bump and her sweet family in front of my camera. When she asked me to photograph this relaxed, at-home maternity session, I was over the moon!
One of the best parts of the Palmers' house is the fabulous front porch, which was just begging for a swing when they moved in. McLaurin envisioned this luxurious bed-swing, and Kyle built it! Isn't it perfect?!
Look at all this sweetness!
McLaurin's decorating skills always inspire me, so I was super excited to see baby Solomon's nursery, and boy, did it live up to the hype in my head! Each piece is expertly chosen and curated, and it all works together so well, from the vintage suitcases to the elephant figurines.
McLaurin created the floral artwork herself, and she and Kyle also added the faux wood grain to the wall behind the crib, which really makes it stand out.
So much love in this room!
Navarro is going to be such a fun big brother!
Did I mention I'm a little jealous of this front porch? ;)
Nav was just about finished with pictures by this point, but he gave me some adorable laughs before playtime!
Isn't his momma beautiful?!
The window light was so dreamy...
...but the bright light coming in the front door was fantastic, too. Just look at this gorgeous couple!
Is this not the most beautiful baby bump you've ever seen?!
Baby Solomon, I can't wait to meet you! You are so loved already!
"...for love is as strong as death,
its jealousy unyielding as the grave.
It burns like blazing fire,
like a mighty flame.
Many waters cannot quench love,
rivers cannot wash it away..."
(Song of Solomon 8:6-7)
