It's time for a lot more catch-up here in blog-land! This time I'm rolling a whole season into one long post, but it's going to be short on words and long on photos (mostly of Afton, with a side of nature.) ;) So, back in March, the Easter bunny visited the yacht club, and Afton was quite happy to meet him (or her?)!
The azaleas were in gorgeous bloom. The hydrangeas weren't anymore, but this weirdo photographer thinks they're beautiful when they're dead.
Afton's first Easter was a wonderful day! After a glorious (as always) worship service at our church, we had friends over for a delicious potluck dinner at our house.
Isn't she adorable with her first Easter basket? :)
The wisteria was beautiful in April.
(And it was in good company!)
April was also time for a terrific visit from Sweet T and Great Granny! Afton loved all the extra lovin' she got while they were around!
Irises (Sweet T's favorite!) bloomed next!
Our girl just keeps getting cuter!
She really loves playing at this window. I like to think it's because she is a photographer-in-training and is learning to find the best light. ;)
We took lots of walks with her in the stroller this Spring!
One weekend, Tom and Lucy joined us for a lovely evening at Shaggy's in Biloxi. Tasty food, fabulous view, and fun playground--what's not to love?!
The backyard looked especially pretty in May.
We enjoy the playground in our neighborhood!
But when you're a baby, the whole world is a playground!
I think this upside-down photo captures her personality better than any I've taken so far. :)
We were excited to try out this new tandem swing at the Little Children's Park. It made me a little dizzy, but Afton was a big fan!
Shew! That was a lot of photos! What fun to look back on these sweet memories. :)
