Will's Pascagoula Senior Portraits

It’s no secret that I love it when families come back to me again and again, and that definitely applies to the lovely Mitchell family. I had a great time photographing Lorelei two years ago, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to have younger brother Will in front of my camera now that it’s his turn for senior portraits! Good looks obviously run in the family! ;)

I somehow wasn’t expecting a train to come by while we were hanging around the depot, but we went with it!

I’ve been shooting in Ocean Springs almost all the time lately (and let’s be honest, generally not getting out much) so it was refreshing and fun to explore Pascagoula for a change!

Will has marine biology career aspirations, so a shot with the NOAA boat seemed like a good idea (and I may have obsessed a bit about this epic tree.)

My favorite senior photos tend to be the ones that are most unique to the individual, and this session definitely fits that pattern. I loved documenting this soccer star in all his athletic glory. And MAJOR thanks to Will’s mom for doing some serious manual labor to make this happen. It’s always true that parents are the unsung heroes of senior portrait sessions, but Ami really took it to the next level dragging benches and soccer goals into just the right spots. I hope you all agree that it was absolutely WORTH IT!

Did I mention that Will is a multi-talented athlete?! Next up, tennis!

We were running low on light but managed to squeeze in a few moments at the beautiful harbor to round out this awesome session.

Thank you so much for letting me document this season for you, Will (and Ami)! Despite the fact that this year has been nobody’s favorite, I hope these photos can serve as evidence that your senior year was, nonetheless, a great one. I can’t wait to hear what awesome things you do in the next chapter! :)

Class of 2021, it’s not too late to schedule your own senior portrait session. Let’s chat! :)
