Fat Tuesday is here! I’m in the Mardi Gras spirit, so I’m skipping ahead to tell (show) you all about our friend Hanalei’s fabulous birthday party! Her mom did an amazing job decking out the yacht club in festive green, purple, and gold.
These guests were ready to party!
And party they did!
The kiddos enjoyed decorating their own masks and crowns.
As if pretending to be kings and queens wasn’t exciting enough… there was a very special visit from some REAL Mardi Gras royalty! The birthday girl even got her own fancy royal cape HANDMADE by the queen herself! How awesome is that?!
King Ocean VI and Queen Springs VI were so kind to let everyone pose for pictures! (Thank you, Ocean Springs Carnival Association!)
And then things got a little crazy… ;)
I’d say Queen Hanalei had a happy birthday, indeed!
