Another beautiful portrait session to share today! Rico & Becca have been in the midst of planning their wedding this year, and needless to say, it’s been a roller coaster of cancellations, delays, and major changes. In an effort to add some much-needed joy to this stressful time, Rico planned a socially-distanced getaway to Biloxi, complete with a SURPRISE portrait session for his fiancée, Becca. How sweet is that?!
On top of the craziness of wedding planning in the time of COVID, these two are about to start a new school year as a teacher and a school counselor. They are handling all these layers of uncertainty with so much positivity and grace! It was inspiring to document the way their love for each other remains steadfast in the midst of this turmoil. Can’t you just feel the JOY?!

This walk on the beach was so peaceful, and I hope these images of it will bring a much-needed sense of calm and comfort as they return to “normal” life (is that even a thing anymore?!).
