I was so excited when Joanna inquired about an at-home session for her family to celebrate the arrival of baby Caroline. Between their gorgeous faces and their fabulous home, I knew this would be a dream session, and it definitely was!
Beautiful baby Caroline was so peaceful and relaxed throughout the session. She was content to snuggle up with Mom and Dad and soak up all the kisses from her adorable and sweet siblings, Russell and Mary Charlotte.
I loved documenting some quiet moments in the nursery.
I do a little bit of posing and directing during portrait sessions, but sometimes the in-between times are my favorites. I love to follow little ones around as they play and explore on their own--these real, candid moments are so precious!
Caroline woke up from her nap but was not the least bit fussy! She posed for me like a pro!
After getting her belly full...
...she was ready to join her family outside for some final photos before sunset.
I feel blessed to call the Allmans my friends and am honored that I got to photograph them, too! Thank you, Allman family, for letting me help you cherish this season in the life of your precious growing family.
