January Throwback

The first picture I took with my camera in 2020 captured both Afton and Jonas doing things they aren’t supposed to be doing (climbing on furniture and chewing on shoes, respectively.) Seems a bit symbolic now; 2020 is not doing what it’s supposed to do, am I right?!

Here’s a look back at January, which seems like forever ago. Pre-COVID-19 seems like another world.

We were super happy to welcome cousins Carolyn & Matt for a visit. It was short and mid-week, but we still managed to show them a lot of the best of Ocean Springs, like the Greenhouse

All these photos seem so foreign and exotic now! It’s fun looking back at this month of “normal” life in the midst of this global pandemic we are living through. I miss these places and people, and I will be extra thankful for them when it’s safe to experience them again.
