I'm back with the rest of the photos from Sweet T and Granddaddy's August visit to Mississippi! Our trip to Lynn Meadows was one highlight, but there's a lot more family fun to share!
Afton loved having these doting grandparents around.
Believe it or not, we did manage an adults-only outing to celebrate my dad's birthday and mine. What better place to celebrate than the beautiful White House Hotel?!
Our evening at Cora's Restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable, and our meals were as delicious as they were beautiful.
Of course, the birthday that got the most attention was Afton's! I can't believe this spunky girl has already been in our world for two whole years!
She loved opening all the gifts that came from so many loved ones in Kentucky.
Party time! This was day two (or three?) of mono for me (although I didn't know that's what it was at the time), so shout out to Mom, Dad, and Alex for doing literally all the party prep! Also to steroids for getting me out of bed just in time to show up. ;)
The weather outside was pretty iffy, so we hung out in the yacht club dining room for cake and presents galore.
Luckily the rain held off so we could enjoy Afton's favorite place: the pool! It was so much fun to have so many friends swimming with us!
We tried to do the usual family photos before church...
...and one Sunday we had a relaxed cookout at the Gulf Islands National Seashore Park!
And that about wraps it up! So thankful for these sweet grandparents-- and everyone who helped us celebrate our favorite two-year-old! :)
