A Visit from Jenny

Another exciting event that is long overdue for being blogged: a Spring Break visit from Jenny! Jenny is one of my very best friends from college, and I miss her! She's a teacher in Northern Virginia, and I was so excited when she decided to spend her precious Spring Break with us in Mississippi--a second time! We started the trip off with an evening of culinary pleasures: barbecue at The Shed followed by frozen custard at Quakes!

Jenny had her first poboy last time she was here, so we upped our game this time: Jenny's first crawfish

She's a donut lover, so of course we had to have a Tatonut

We strolled around downtown Ocean Springs while Afton napped in the stroller. She woke up just in time to show Jenny how much she loves swinging--such fun!

We also spent one afternoon in downtown Bay St. Louis

There are so many wonderful antique stores to explore!

Afton had a great time playing with Jenny. And she received a wonderful handmade wall hanging--such a special gift!

Thanks for traveling all the way down here to hang out, Jenny! We're ready for your next visit anytime! :)
